Meet Your Instructors

Emily Mbah

Emily earned her Associate of Applied Arts in Sports & Fitness Management from LCCC and holds her Personal Training Certification through the National Council on Strength & Fitness.

She has experience in:

• One-on-one personal training
• Small group training
• HIIT training
• Athletic agility & conditioning
• Program design for individuals and groups

Emily was a varsity soccer and basketball athlete at Elyria Catholic High School and has completed several 5K, 10K, and half-marathon races. She is passionate about helping people become healthier and achieve their fitness goals.

Justin Leonard

Justin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Owner/Director at Tru-Cor Fitness. He holds a degree in Exercise Physiology from Bowling Green State University and specializes in helping clients build strength, improve performance, and train with purpose.

He has experience working with athletes across multiple sports and has served as a Strength Coach for Erie Futbol Club, Elyria Catholic Girls Basketball, and Avon Lake Hockey.

Justin’s training focuses on proper technique, structured programming, and delivering real results for both athletes and everyday clients.

• USAW Sports Performance Certification
• USATF Level 1 Coach

Class Descriptions

Women On Weights / Senior Women On Weights

A small-group beginner to intermediate class focused on teaching proper weight-training technique and building strength in a supportive environment.

Goals include:

• Improving posture
• Increasing strength
• Building confidence with weights
• Reducing body fat

Total Body HIIT

A high-energy interval workout designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, burn calories, and build strength. Short bursts of effort are paired with recovery periods for a challenging but safe workout for all ability levels.

Class Registration Policy

If no participants are registered by 10PM the night before, the class may be cancelled. Please sign up early to secure your spot.
